Rumus dasar passive voice

1                Simple Present Tense                   

     active  : S + V1 + O + A                                                                                   
     pasive : O + to be (am, are, is) + V3 + by + S + A

    example :

     active   :  My mother always cleans the floor every morning.          

     passive :  The floor is always cleaned by my mother every morning

2                Simple Past Tense                           
       active  : S + V2 + O + A                                                                                  
       pasive : O + to be (was, were) + V3 + by + S + A
     
      example :

       active  : Fadhila watched the movie in the theatre last night.        

       pasive : The movie was watched by Fadhila in the theatre last night.

3                Simple Future Tense                      
       active  : S + will + V1 + O+ A                                                                        
       pasive : O + will be + V3 + by + S + A

      example :

       active  : The farmers are going to harvest the crops next week   

       pasive : The crops are going to be harvested by the farmers next week.

4                Present Continuous Tense          
        active  : S + to be (am, are, is) + V1-ing + O + A                                   
        pasive : O + to be (am, are, is) + being + V3 + by + S + A

       example :
        active  : They are making a rainbow cake now.                                   
        pasive : A rainbow cake is being made by them now

5                Past Continuous Tense                  
        active  : S + to be (was, were) + V1-ing + O + A                                  
        pasive : O + to be (was, were) + being + V3 + by + S + A

       example :

        active  : She was buying some books last night.                                 

        pasive : Some books were being bought by her last night.

6                Future Continuous Tense             
        active  : S + will + be + V1-ing + O + A                                                      
        pasive : O + will + be + being + V3 + by + S + A

      example :

        active  : He will be meeting them.                                                             

        pasive : They will be being met by him.

7              Present Perfect Tense                   
       active  : S + have/has + V3 + O + A                                                            
       pasive : O + have/has + been + V3 + by + S + A

      example :

       active  : The manager has interviewed some candidates                                

       pasive : Some candidates have been interviewed by the manager.

8                Past Perfect Tense                          
        active  : S + had + V3 + O + A                                                                       
        pasive : O + had + been + V3 + by + S + A

       example :

        active  : Carroll had made a good decision to leave Liverpool.      

        pasive : A good decision had been made by Carroll to leave Liverpool.

9                Future Perfect Tense                     
        active  : S + will + have + V3 + O + A                                                         
        pasive : O + will + have + been + V3 + by + S + A

       example :

        active  : She will have watered this plant before I get afternoon.                     

        pasive :  This plant will have been watered by her before I get here this here this afternoon.
